Since it is the time of the year for proms, I thought I would post these insane photos from some prom, somewhere in America. Apparently these kids have neither parents nor fashion sense. Runner
Runner by Thomas Perry is the latest in a series of novels about a woman named Jane Whitefield. Jane can make people disappear. In other words, if you are in trouble and someone is trying to kill you, you find Jane and she will put you into a witness protection program of sorts. She will change your name, give you a new identity-the whole deal. You just have to follow the rules. The problem is that Jane has a new life now. She is married to a wonderful man and has settled into a quiet life, until Christine seeks her help. What follows is an exciting tale of near misses and just-desserts. This story kept me on the edge of my seat and was great fun to listen to. I didn’t know that this book was part of a series when I first picked it up, but now I plan to read the stories leading up to this one. My conservative rating is PG-13 for some language and a couple of sexual references. Read More →

This is What Happens When I Am Bored
So one night I was bored, painfully bored, and I decided to play around with photobooth on my MAC. I choose the mirror setting and then accidentally pressed record. The following video is the product of that. Kinda scary, but my real photo is at the bottom of the homepage! So it’s all OK. Read More →
Look Out Michael J. Fox
This is not a joke. All I can tell you is that last night I took Nyquil before going to sleep and I had a dream about a movie idea-complete with trailer! The movie starred Jimmy Walker from GoodTimes and was called Back to the Ghetto! Like Back to The Future only…in the ghetto. I can’t remember a whole lot about it, but don’t you think it sounds like a good movie premise? Anybody in Hollywood reading this? Gimme props! Read More →
You Might Be A Teacher If…
1. You believe the playground should be equipped with a Ritalin fountain. 2. You want to slap the next person who says, “Must be nice to work 8 to 3:00 and have summers free.” 3. You can tell if it’s a full moon without looking outside. 4. You believe “shallow gene pool” should have its own check box on a report card. 5. You believe that unspeakable evils will befall you if anyone says: “Boy, the kids sure are mellow today.” 6. When out in public you feel the urge to snap your fingers... more

A Dirty Job
A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore could be a fun book, if it weren’t so vulgar. The story is about a man who unwittingly and unwillingly gets a job collecting “soul vessels” from the dead or dying. There are talking ravens, little animal “people”, hell-hounds, and f**k puppets. Yes, that’s right. In fact, I think that there was one chapter where the author had a contest with himself just to see how many time he could say…the latter word combo. The... more
Timeline by Michael Crichton is a sci-fi tell about a group of archaeologists who travel back in time to 14th century France. The premise is far-fetched enough, but the book is filled with plenty of scientific jargon that make the ideas seem plausible. If you are a fan of science fiction and action then I recommend this book. I listened to it on audiobook and it was great entertainment because the narrator did a great job with all of the voices. I rate the book PG for some language, but there... more

About Me
This blog is simply a record of my thoughts and what I am up to! The video to the right shows me losing at a game of Jan Ken Pon (Rock Paper Scissors) in Japan. Never knew an entire room of people could play that game!
